Political activism related to a foreign conflict has always been received with apathy by the locals.

As much as I don't condone war and wish peace and prosperity to both Ukrainians and Russian, these demonstration achieve nothing but inconvenience to the local people thus exacerbating the stereotype of the 'unruly gaijin'.
