There was a generation after the war who understood the evils brought by nationalism that the whole world should learn something from them. They are dying off. They had a wisdom few on the world understand. Abe's generation and after though and are just naive idiots like the rest of us. The wisdom died with that generation it seems.

America lost 50000 young people in Vietnam, another 5k Iraq. Does Japan really want to follow our path of dumbass nationalism. How many dead kids are worth it for your pride in watching foreign protest.

The reasons Abe's ipso facto sanctions have not been clearly given. It is not supposed to be about the recent South Korean judicial ruling. But very likely it that and only that.

No what? No more Mr Nice guy that’s what.

Enjoy that collective sufferage, victimhood and resentment Korea. Hope that works out well for yaz. Have a look at what it does to the individuals that are possessed by this mindset for clues as to what it will do to a whole nation en masse.

"You know a person has done his job for his country just by looking how many protests there are in other countries. Is just the cost of doing one works in return of seeking benefits for one own country against others. SK can keep hating him while Abe gather more supportings in his own country.

If you are loved by your enemies then you are just doing it wrong or not doing your job. Your enemies usually want one who is soft and easy to push around."

Since when people of other countries that you have never ever met in your life become "your enemies"? This is exactly the type of Nationalistic nonsense that drove Japan to WWII and caused mass suffering to Asia.

Given these words are from the current generation, it's not a matter of if, but when, history will be repeated.

South Korea has become an industrial country in a few decades, but it's so far from the word "Superpower". I do not see a way that South Korea would win this gamebecause Korean people are nationalists and, normally, Japanese products are not popular in SK. So, boycotting Japanese goods do not make any effect to Japan. Nontheless, South Korean economy has to rely on Japan.

What kind of countries can obstruct a process of indemnification between corporate perpetrators and individual victims, and even retaliate against other irrelevant companies of the victims' countries? Isn't it right that the Japanese companies as the war criminals must indemnify the other countries' forced laborers as the victims of course? If South Korea's government should be responsible for part of the liability, isn't it a matter that the two governments of Korea and Japan discuss seperately? Isn't Abe government a real threat against Japanese, as well as international, economy and security? Aren't the supporters of Abe government the same with the underlings of Japanese Imperialism in WWII after all?

Aren’t the supporters of Abe Government different from the underlings of Japanese Imperialism in WWII?

The world does not pivot around Korea.

Seems less than 100 protesters and passersby watching and taking pictures. They are maybe hired by government.

Just a bunch of indoctrinated fools...
