Message for Abe

If you were familiar with Japanese politics you would realize that those things are irrelevant.

Japanese government officials have on many occasions said that nuclear armament was not anti-constitutional, that doesn't mean Japan is going to have nukes.

Just because he said they had the right doesn't mean they will.

So since Nazis and ww2, Israel would be against German forces interfering with Islamic attacks on Israeli civilians?

Well at least they aren't calling for massacre of all Japanese.. or referring to the Japanese people as cochroaches. They are staging a protest in front of their own government building and not threatening any Japanese people living in, or visiting Korea.

Nor are they screaming anti Japanese rhetoric. They just don't like the PM. Fair enough. Who does?

For those who only reads Japan Today and Japan Times and don't read Japanese language, things are going much faster. we in Japan used to call them "South Korea", today we call them "Red Korea" following US DOD example. Things are getting clear now.

Why do Mr ABE indifferently offend China and Korea than desperately seek summit meetings while attending Yasukuni to pay tribute to Criminals who caused the atrocities in China and Korea? Why are Japanese so good at apologizing to their own kind but not to others which they have caused so much misery?

When Abe and the LDP political machine, including NHK (BS TV), deny. downplay, ignored and censor the truth about Japan's atrocities it would be unnatural if South Korean citizens kept qyiet.

I can't read the Hangul but none of the Japanese slogans say this, and judging from the pattern of posters made, like the ones in the back, they seem to be translated carbon copies so I'm guessing the hangul boards don't say this anywhere neither. As far as I can see they're all posters against collective self defense.

There is never a start from point zero.

Here in South Korea what they are really focused on is the part of the US-enforced conference which will focus on the coordination/level of involvement or not of the Japanese military in the case of a military confrontation with North Korea. Abe's said all he's going to about the comfort women, that's not what this is really about. The sinking of the ROK military corvette Cheonan in 2010 was unilaterally blamed on the North and used to drum up support for an all-out retaliation; this fizzled out when an international research team found that the story the ROK/UN was standing by (that the markings in blue ink identifying the torpedo as North Korean) was highly suspect (the paint had burnt off, yet the identifying marks in blue ink were as clear as day as if written an hour ago).

I hope South Korean president will be sincere enough to come to terms with the atrocities (multiple rapes and mindless massacres) committed by Korean soldiers during the VIetnam War.

Entirely separate issue though, innit.

Important to remember that it's only due to immense US pressure on the South Korean president that this "summit" even took place.

By the way, why is former Japanese prime minister Junichiro Koizumi (center) leading an anti-Japan rally in Seoul?! Nice punch perm you've got there, Jun-chan!

A rather silly statement; these people really don't do themselves any favours.

Give it a rest gentlemen. At least, it's better to have a dialogue than not at all.
