There's no way to look at this photo and not smile.

You win a championship and you say "I'm going to Disneyland". Glad to see Matsui fulfil his dreams. Hope he'll do well with the LA Angels

Congrats on 1000 MLB hits.

No, he doesn't. He stands next to a man on minimum wage in a costume. Let's get it right. It's a man, on very low wages, who was forbidden to speak to Matsui.
He waves and nods for a living, in a suit of foam, and is forbidden to join a union.
There is no such thing as Mickey Mouse. It is a man in a foam suit.

The photo looks fake.

very fake. where do both of their shadows go?

I don't know if it is a fake but somebody sure worked on it and not too skillfully. I could have done that in 5 minutes in photoshop for free and it would have looked better.
On closer examination; it is a fake; see the line traversing across the top. The background is a painting.

IvanCoughalot- The reason people at DL earn minimum wage is there is a line a mile long of eager teenagers who will gladly take the job... basic economics. Standing in a costume and waving isn't rocket science and will never pay as such.

Matsui is integrating into American society. Good for him. Language held him back for a long while. He looks really happy these days. New York is too frickin cold. Southern California is heaven in many ways.
