Hope this poster helps raise awareness.
I was in a 7/11 in Osaka yesterday, and I had a hard time getting around a group of five young people with large suitcases. When I went to another aisle, there they were again. And then again at the cashier’s. They were not quick to move or make space.
The funny thing was that they were speaking fluent, unaccented Japanese.

The large bold print makes it crystal clear who the message is targeted at.
ken
Shouldn't it be in Chinese??????
Mocheake
Good luck with that. It should be common sense and common courtesy but from my experience, the majority of native people do not care and neither do most tourists.

People have all this money to travel here and buy stuff.
but no money for taxis or to have the hotel keep their luggage somehow.

If they are taking up the entire width of the walk way, just push through. It's not rocket science.

Make sure it’s written in every variation of chinese
Pukey2
There are only two variations of written Chinese.
I personally don't see that many tourists from China. Tourists are now more spread out and many come from SE Asia. Now and again, I do hear some loud Americans.

This " Japanese manners and dont make a fuss " has its limits.
In Australia, the luggage lout would be "advised " to move it.
"Get out of the way, you idiot "

Good. It;s about time Japanese people were more considerate when walking around with their luggage.

This is what makes Japan special. Logical management of common sense ideas.
