Immoral booster is more like it! Check out the guy in the front trying to see up her skirt!

The guy just left of her legs looks like he has just reached enlightenment. Can't really say I blame him...

Amazing how any event/occasion is "enhanced" by the addition of a scantily clad woman/girl. The looks on these kids faces are priceless.

All i have to say is that if these guys need the motivation of a short skirt on a woman to inspire them to get a job, then they are already behind the power curve. Not saying that one's only interest should be to work oneself to death after the all mighty "yen" but I don't need to see some girl in a skirt jumping up and down to motivate me in my job search. The fact that I want to be able to buy things and be an adult would be motivation enough.

Love this picture, those faces!! The one below left is a cutie :)

This is the last nice thing that will ever happen to you in life!

What about a morale booster for the women who are job hunting?

What about a morale booster for the women who are job hunting?

Isn't it what that above is? All they need is put on short skirts!

4 ( +5 / -1 )

You mean look up cheerleader's skirts. Just look at that picture.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Peep show

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

....... will the world ever change?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Yes Qamar, next year the skirts will be shorter!

6 ( +6 / -0 )

I LOVE Japan!

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Morale booster? You bet your life!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

This is beyond pathetic as a concept & whats next jt full on up-skirt shots, low class!

-8 ( +2 / -11 )

It's still January, these students haven't even graduated. How about focussing on actually GRADUATING before going job-hunting. The system is so backward I don't know where to start.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

Wish we had events like that when I was leaving school... then again we never really had cheerleaders in early 80s Glasgow lol

1 ( +2 / -1 )

What an immature ass the guys is trying to look up her skirt. He'll be the one that gets a goddamn job. Typical.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Wow, loose socks! Haven`t seen those in a long time. Are they coming back in fashion?

9 ( +8 / -0 )

Would any other country get away with doing something like this?

Seriously?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Also looking at this pic it seems there are NO Women looking for jobs............

Also looking at this pic it seems there are NO Women looking for jobs............

More likely, there were no women looking for jobs that wanted to look at this.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Not really a great set of gams, either, but I suppose she was "doing her best". And, yes, where are the women in the job hunting scene other than being onstage fetishism and titilation for the boys.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

The ladies get Chippendale's. ;)

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

That fella leaning on the stage is about to bust a nut.

The top half must really be something.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Sounds more like bait to me. "So yeah, we saw you trying to look under her skirt."

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Would any other country get away with doing something like this?

Most non-Muslim Asian countries.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Other countries, hmm, cheerleaders, dancers, nhooters oh where do I begin to count the ways.

Not j/k that type stuff exists everywhere unless everyone use ugly Betties.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

worker drones

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Alex Einz- Oh that's sooo awesome. We need more women who think they can gain respect with hooker-sized skirts! =_=

But really, couldn't they offer something which doesn't involve raging hormones? points at one of the guys in the picture. He seems pretty worked up!

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

These lads are from the vocational schools. Which either means their parents didn't have the money to send them to a university or they couldn't concentrate in class. Either way they are headed for the lower half of the stratosphere when it comes to salary. A little strange when you consider that most of the top companies want to hire their "freshmen" as blank slates so that they can be molded into the most obedient drones. At least these guys can enjoy a bit of fun. Some of the kids at university have their heads stuffed way too far up their preconceptions to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Blimey, some of you are right Killjoys, will you listen to yourselves! You sound like the boring geezer in Footloose or the bald bloke in Back to the Future.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Nice one hatsoff ^_^

It's a harmless bit of fun... and to those of you who are moaning about the length of the girl's skirt... don't cheerleaders at your American football matches have teeny tiny skirts? Shorts that leave little to the imagination? As hatsoff said, killjoys.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Great pic. Just about all the bases covered here..

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Give these kids a break, they're locked in a school all day after which they spend the evening in juku or going to their club EVERY day. Most don't have time for a girlfriend even if there were a girl who didn't go to juku to have time for him.

Then they will get that job and work 12 hrs/ day for the rest of their life.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

It is not the length of the skirt, I hate it that women are always used for entertainment purposes, it irks me. What I hate even more is when girls voluntarily subject themselves to it..but to each his own eh. I wonder, where there male cheerleaders for the girls?

And even if there where. Do adults need cheerleaders in short skirts/shorts to be motivated? I'm sure I don't need a guy in fitted shorts to motivate me on my job search..it is the pay and social respect that accompanies a job that motivates me, that's all. (I have no idea how old the guys in the pic are..but some are thinking I'm an old geezer. I'm a 23 year old who was job searching last summer and still is up to now..my break was graduation celebrations)

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

OK, I've never heard of needing cheerleaders or a rally for a job search. I thought a good CV and cover letter were the starting point...

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Nice legs! And, oh my, loose socks! Haven't seen them in a while...

2 ( +2 / -0 )

While the male job-seekers are looking up cheerleaders' skirts the female job-seekers are out applying for jobs. I see it all now -- it's a plot. ;-)

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Not really much of a way to improve motivation to find work. I see this as nothing but a distraction... although one needs money to get the girls. Unless one can catch a rich sugar momma...

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Some of you seem to be taking this one specific part of an overall event WAAYYYY to seriously.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

@Qamar says:

....... will the world ever change?

Just wait until Western style feminism hits Japan in full force. Harmless fun like this will be replaced by idiotic egotists "twerking" or pole dancing for one and all while congratulating themselves on how empowered they have become. By American standards cheerleaders in skirts and pom poms is pretty tame stuff.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

WilliB and Serrano, those are leg-warmers, not loose socks. But, yes, the whole thing is pathetic.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Qamar, you know you are the one oppressing here, did you stop and think that maybe those girls want to show their legs . granted the one in the pic not the best example but they can do whatever the hell they want incl ultra short skirts. Why is it that you hate that womens body used for entertainment , if they want it its totally fine.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

a bit more パンツ showing would lift my morale!

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Yes, they can do everything and anything they want, it is not like I'm stopping them, but it may lead girls into thinking that that's the only way they attract men (i.e. exposing body...) and boys thinking that all girls are like that...until they hit full on maturity and realize that women are different, like men are different. The emphasis is always on the body.

So there full explanation. I'm not worried about the occasional cheerleading event much, I would feel better if they wore a shorts underneath :P. What I worry about is its integration and embodiment in society. The body sells, both male and female, always, advertisements know it..but sometimes I get tired of it all because I see girls always younger and younger who wear less and less and guys who are younger who hit the gym it is kind of sexualisation of the young minds. Maybe I was supposed to be born in the 18th Century though..that's all but I look at my young students and I get so worried.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

if you were born in 18s century, you would probably have a 12 year old wife, so I dont really get where all that coming from really. its well known that most men and women are sexually mature before they are 16, its just prudent rules society started imposing in 19 century that makes it a sort of taboo, I am glad this ridiculous trend starting to get reversed hopefully.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

@Alex Einz- I am a woman, and I said that because most people tell me that I have a prudish mind for this century. Sexually mature yes, but definitely NOT mature! There are reasons why 16 year olds aren't considered adults yet.

I am going to stop here anyway, because we are not going to agree at all. Well if you watch music videos, you can see that there aren't many taboos left, most barriers have been broken right through.

Look at cheerleaders .... you seem to be missing a word :)
