A new 15-floor building complex constructed by leading urban developer Mori Building opened in the Shimbashi area of Tokyo last week. Located in an area accessible from both the business districts of Shiodome and Shimbashi, Shintora-dori Core aims to be an international hub for all business people. Bars, restaurants, and shops, as well as an event space and offices, can be found inside. There is also an outdoor streetside terrace with around 20 seats. Access: A six-minute walk from Shimbashi Station or a nine-minute walk from Shiodome Station

If there is one thing that Tokyo really lacks and which would make it a much more friendly city, it is seating.

Too true. The seating makes me happy -- I don't care so much about what's inside. Nice trees too! Well done.
