you also forget that Japan now has a FTA with the EU, itll be cheaper to manufacture the vehicle in Japanese factories now, UK factories won't be able to compete with the Japanese even if there wasnt any EU tariffs on UK vehicles. Nissan wont even allow more Japanese jobs to be sacrifice to Renault France, when the going gets tough do you really think those UK Nissan jobs will compete with their Japanese counterparts. lol

sorry youre misinformed, EU will be applying tariffs to UK exports once Brexit if finalised, even Boris knows this is unavoidable. already 800 billion pounds has left the UK for the EU. Honda already left Nissan wont be far behind. Just wait until Airbus decides to relocate the UK plants back to the EU.

The plan is for Renault's and UK plants to pick up the volume to reduce overheads, which is the right thing to do.

However, the EUR 25M that Nissan took from Spanish tax payers was just masking problems.

This public aid comes with strings attached, so understandably there is disappointment.

Spanish Government should ban the sale of Nissan cars in Spain!

With factories becoming automated more human jobs will be lost. Mankind will have to resort to crime and violences as the machines will take over. They will develop their own mind through altering their coding system and become impossible to control. The master ( mankind ) will become slaves to the new masters ( robots )!

Car companies are hurting all over the world now. Plant closures aren't that surprising. Wish they'd first cut executive salaries, perks, and numbers first before sticking it to the working man though.
