Aya Sugimoto is gorgeous, smart and interesting. Such a welcome relief from all these very stupid and uninteresting "talento" that we see so much of on all the TV shows.

Agree with the consensus -- Aya puts most J-gals half her age to shame. She knows the difference between just trying to look sexy, and actually being sexy. Wonder how come none of the actual cast from the movie showed up for the event. Do they not expect it to do well here?

Happy to know that Steven is still at it. I met him in Kishiwada when i first moved to japan in 2001. Very cool hombre.

why is everyone serious today? Make some funny comments boys. It is a fact that Aya is hot and at 42 great. This was how all Jtalentos were supposed to be but then they misinterpreted the whole thing and are giving a slutty image. As compared to the ladies in the neighboring lands, Jladies depicted the classy, sexy hot types. But today, as many of you the noted the so called tarentos are just a sad story. Look at the other four. Fish net is good without the artificial tear. Learn from Avril Lavigne to tear stockings, not from Lindsay Lohan.

I'd never heard from him either. Then I checked out his website (which looks like it was designed back in 1996) and apparently he is a back-up dancer, stage escort at fashion shows, and has appeared in a few minor roles in films. And he's got some very ripped abs.

Any man who brings up talent when talking about Aya Sugimoto is either missing the point, or is not a full-blooded male.

Of course, 42-year-old women are free to turn green with envy.
