Never had Norwegian salmon. Only salmon I've ever had is the stuff that comes in sushi or the live salmon that I catch straight out of the rivers in Idaho.
As long as it tastes good and is sustainable, I'm all for it.

See, this is what PMs should do: promoting trade. Love Norwegian salmon - best breakfast in the world :) That little guy being served looks like wondering: eh, how come the chef is in black suit today?! : D

If you've has salmon as sushi, they could be Canadian, U.S. or Norwegian farmed atlantic salmon, the only kind used for sushi. So you may already hae had some. Hope you;'e nbot using the landlocked kokanees for sushi, at least not straight raw.
