I've seen an exhibition like this before. Pretty mindboggling! Awesome!

I am pretty sure I visited the same exhibition at Sunshine already years ago with my kid. Neat, but it does not seem like news to me.

Whats new is you can smell the cooked animals with soy sauce or ponzu seasonings. This is 4D art.

They have this in Odaiba as well.

Surprised that they allow him to touch it.

I've seen the Trick Art Museum in Takao. It's pretty fun taking pictures like this one. Especially for kids.

Kids and seniors free and 500 yen for adults. I know I know I'm crazy and this is Japan.

The whale doesn't look too impressed somehow.

Is he taking a bite out of the fin?

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh? Oishii so da naaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Hope it lasts... these kind of things are often the target of kids who go a little wild and try to hang off them.

Takes no small amount of skill tp paint false perspective like that. Impressive for kids and adults

I think so too Ivan.

It's tromp l'oeil art. There are no bits for kids to hang off or for the man to adjust. It's all just painted on the flat wall.

Cetacean settee, sea-tortoise side table - 最高!

Guess no chalk art here in this land of anime. Miss that.

Me too DenTok2009

Have you ever really seen it live? It is fabulous.

Have never seen anything like it before. The arts looks cool. Is the whale's head sticking out, or is the painting painted to give it that effect?

skipbeat, better go on a sidewalk art tour! You are missing out! If you can't get to the states (practically every city seems to sponsor a sidewalk artfest), then check out the trick art museum at Sunshine 60. Good to know the museum allows photography. It'll be a fun, touristy thing to do.

"Come along with me, nice whale. I have some friends on the Nishin Maru who are waiting to meet you... "

MaboDofuIsSpicy, I've gone to sidewalk artfests. It's great summer fun!

Surprised that they allow him to touch it.

It's for scientific purposes.
