Prince Hisahito, 6, accompanied by his parents Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko, arrives at Ochanomizu University Elementary School for his entrance ceremony in Tokyo on Sunday. It is the first time since World War II that a child in the imperial family has attended a school other than Gakushuin.

And what? No Ransel?!

I take it you meant a randoseru?

Yes, that's what was meant. However, "randoseru" is, in fact a gairaigo, from the dutch word for backpack, "ransel."

He's a delicate-looking little fellow isn't he.

I'm very glad he doesn't have to lag one of those rucksacks around. Very hard on the back.

Good luck laddie!

must be tough for the kid going to school, wonder how he is treated... maybe too young for kids to know what it all means.

Good luck to the next emperor of Japan. It is extremely difficult to please everyone, but you can do it. (f dad would trim the mustache, he would look great!)
