Hmm, I think this pic came out pretty nice. Good vibrant colors and fairly intriguing subject focus.

What a beautiful picture. So many possible metaphors....

Poor old thing. Looks so lonely.

eresay - You mean the poor old tree that someone wacked that the old lady's sitting on the stump of? Yeah, I'll bet that was a majestic tree...

Yeah that too Sarge

sarge: I bet it's made of concrete

franz - You may very well be right, but I'm guessing it's a real tree stump.

I wonder if there are any skunks around there. Why? Because this tree stump reminds me of the following tongue twister:

The stump thunk the skunk stunk. The skunk thunk the stump stunk.

A perfect pollen allergy ad. Just need a sneezing hottie in the foreground!

the pic shud have grandma slightly more to the right & the distant bridge on top shud be cropped out then the pic vastly improves

Many may like this photo, but personally it is not to my taste.

Looks to me like someone needs to turn down the contrast settings on their camera. Unless of course the ridiculously saturated color is for "artistic" purposes.

Not trying to be a grouch, just giving my opinion as an amateur photographer.

Is this a caption contest?

"Where the hell am I?"

The white big part on upper left and the white notice among the flower on right draws unwanted attention. The upper part of the photo from the top of the flowers could have been cropped. A little less saturation would probably make it a better photograph. The subject is wonderful. I loved the contrast of fresh lively flower and green grass with the dead tree and an old person.
