What is the problem with walking or running if the situation deems necessary? Nature provided the lower appendages for locomotion, commonly referred to a legs!!!!

Im always bemused at the unbreakable Easter-Island Moai-style faces on J-Cops in public places like stations and airports - a far cry from the Bobbies Ive seen in the UK smiling in pics with tourists! Come on mate - give us a smile for the camera!

Don't see the point. Top speed is less than 21km /hour. Your average criminal is going to be able to outrun that. And it makes the copper a sitting duck for anyone with a rifle.

21km /hour on that polished floor, officer dibble will end up head first in the car park...

I am assuming there is a training program to navigate the escalator, at speed we are looking at serious dental carnage. Of course there is the elevator.

Yeah... saw one back in December... not sure if it was for police or what the purpose was though. That aside... why did the post above yours mentioning Bangkok gain three upvotes and then yours gain a downvote? Weird.

Yup. that's what traveling by plane looks like to me. I've never been on a plane, but I imagine it's anything but pleasant. 0% privacy, and prison-like security measures.

How come it's still illegal for people to ride Segways on the sidewalks outside?

Ask Usain Bolt.
