Robots race shortly after the start of the world's first full marathon for robots, organized by technology company Vstone Co, in Osaka, on Thursday. The five participating robots must complete 422 laps around a 100-meter indoor racetrack to cover 42 kilometers. Survivors of the nonstop race -- except for battery changes and repairs -- are expected to hit the finish line on Feb 27, when their human counterparts run in the popular Tokyo Marathon. Another small step to household androids. The day they can figure out how to fix the balance issue (I'd suggest x2 gyroscopes in the head area) for running and walking the hand movements and other stuff can come afterwards.
