Ironically they all seem to be looking in different directions

Man, Justin Bibier (or whatever his name is), this band, and Psy...music suck, today. I want the 80s back!

Maki looks horribly out of place in the best possible way.

A flower amongst thorns.....

reminds me of the stereotype of the date between a Japanese girl and a western guy: the girl is dressed up to the latest fashion, perfect make-up and elaborated hair style, the dude is in jeans, T-shirt and sneakers. and forgot to shave

can say the same of the stereotype of the date between j-guy and w-girl: the guy is dressed up to the latest fashion, perfect make-up and elaborated hair style, the chick is in jeans, T-shirt and sneakers. and forgot to shave.

LordPounce sure pounced on that one, ha ha!

Harry Styles needs a new hairstyle - I recommend Liam's.

Britain and Irelands finest! Unfortunately! OK, maybe cruel, but I've never found "produced" bands in the least bit attractive (btw, which is 90% of J-Pop these days). I found the Beatles style happi coats particularly tacky. What was surprising was the level of emotion at the airport when they arrived. Are they that famous here?

@LordPounce: lol

I don't understand what do they find attractive from those tight jeans wearing weak looking dudes? Freak me out.

I am patiently waiting till this horrible time of 1980's tight jeans and low buts is over. I just hope they don't revive the 1970's after this.

Makichan looks beautiful, as always.

that's great... we all know that Japan doesn't have enough dull, meritless, uninspiring, forgettable pop-drivel of its own to ignore.

20 year cycles, it seems. In the 70's it was all about "the 50's" ("American Graffiti", "Grease", "Happy Days")Bellbottoms and tie-dye from the 70's made a comeback in the 90's. The 80's were "hair bands", but I didn't notice any resurgence in those the last decade. Maybe the cycle has been broken? Let's see, what did we have in the 90's? Ahh yes. Whiney "emo-rock" (Counting Crows, The Cure) and Grunge. Etou... Not sure I want that coming back around again.

JechanJAN. 18, 2013 - 11:32PM JST what makes you think theyre weak? so people with tank tops, buldging muscles and lame, baggy jeans are strong? these boys wear what their manager tells them to wear. they might not like it but its in their contract. is it because by wearing skinny jeans they can attract girls that wouldnt even dream of being seen standing next to you that you are jealous...?

Sorry but let me break it to you - first of all any girl that finds these types of blokes attractive is not worth being around.

Real women, beautiful women, intelligent women go for real men. Screaming irrational teens go for these types.

Nobody's jealous, we're just old scool and know more through wisdom and experience.

@Alex80 - The 1980s? Pretty much considered the worst decade of music in the 20th century... and you want it back?

@ Fadamor

Interesting...I did not realize the 20-year cycle rule; the 90's seem a bit too close to the present to revive though. (I think we're talking about distance again :;)

Screaming irrational teens

Did you actually look at these " Screaming irrational teens"? Pretty much the same as the "Real women, beautiful women, intelligent women" you mention. Problem for us "wonderful" men, how do we differentiate?

Met them on a flight a while back, nice lads, funny and grounded (them, not the flight it was an Airbus!) Good luck to them. Enjoy some Japanese.
