Thugs just like the SA and SS. Guess these idiots didn't hear what the emperor, whom they glorify said in his speech.

“Looking back at the past, together with deep remorse over the war, I pray that this tragedy of war will not be repeated and together with the people, express my deep condolences for those who fell in battle and in the ravages of war, and pray for world peace and the further prosperity of our country.” (Hirohito)

As dbsaiya says, the right-wing nutcases seem not to have heard the words of the emperor. Rather than preventing the tragedy of war from being repeated, they seem bent on starting another one.

Both Yaks (you can see the tats), no doubt just trying to please their Oyabun.

More power to the people who challenge the status quo. Japan needs more of this.

I wish they would just act on their convictions, and go attack some Chinese held rock somewhere (and do everyone a favour by getting their asses whooped). At least the religious fundamentalists actually went somewhere to fight for their "beliefs". But of course acting out in the middle of Tokyo is much easier...

It seems anti-war demonstrators are swelling, especially now with how the vast majority of people in Japan are against the unconstitutional bogus security bills being forcefully passed by Abe. These right-wingers feel these bills give them the right to assert their nonsense to the vast majority of people, which would in turn spark or ignite a further massive anti-war/abe movement. Is this a glimpse of Japan in the very near future?, the fracturing of society (abe-supporters and peace-wishers etc.). The 70th anniversary of the end of WWII still has not made these rightwingers learn anything, including Abe and his rightwing cabinet.

ringman2,

The anti-war guys, those who oppose the anti-constitutional actions of Abe and crew, and the anti-base guys in Okinawa communicate peacefully. The ones with the venom, the ones who screech through howling tannoys, march up and down in front of Shinjuku station in groups of three or four and who hire heavies to scream at the peace guys are a tiny minority.

Their loudness makes it seems like there are lots of them.

There aren’t.

Your average Japanese, Okinawan, Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese person just wants to get on with life without too many hassles. Many of us are just fed up with over-government.

Why don't we put those who want to "dook it out" in an arena somewhere and let them do what they want.

And leave the rest of us to get on with our lives.

Beware Abe as history repeats itself when you can't face up to its reality. You may have created a monster that you can't control. The reality is that when fascists and thugs join forces as the uyoku and yakuza, violence and bloodshed will ensue. As I mentioned before the SA and SS are a prime example and even in China when the Chinese gangs and the fascists in the KMT joined to murder people in the streets of the Shanghai massacre of 1927.
