A police officer tries to stop a protester during a demonstration outside the Japanese consulate in Shanghai on Saturday. Thousands of protesters also besieged the Japanese embassy in Beijing on Saturday, hurling rocks and bottles at the building as police struggled to keep control, amid growing tensions between Asia's two biggest economies over a group of disputed islands.

China is just up to its old tricks and games, nothing to be worried about, just avoid going to China and avoid buying anything MADE IN CHINA, and see how long they will keep up this BS!

Either that, or he really likes the policeman.
Phone aside, It actually does look like he really likes the policeman, hehe

Excellent sample photograph of a "Chinese loser". The smart ones are at work feeding their famiies.

This is one way to ID and round up troublemakers. I wonder if he will get much jail time?

Now see this is exactly what the US needs, fashion police. I mean if the Chinese can afford fashion police why not America?!
ikkoikki
Maybe it's just me, but looks like the cop is telling him to get back in the demonstration....

Readers, the man's fashion is not relevant to this discussion.

@lachatamber
You beat me to it, when peopple have no sense of fashion , why would they lecture others about fashion is beyond me. You may and I may not wear what he's wearing , but to say he has no sense of fashion or color coordination is an argument you won't win Virtuoso!
lachatamber
black goes fine with bright blue, actually. his color coordination is fine. learn2fashn before you post.

I'll bet the cop is thinking, "Why do I have to waste my time doing this?"

Whay like?
Maybe something along the lines that between 1931-45 Japan was responsible for the deaths of 20,000,000 Chinese through a policy of 'burn all, kill all and loot all' and countless massacres in urban centres
And that Japan for decades has tried to whitewash these crimes to such an extent that most Japanese don't even think they ever happened.
Even worse the Chinese might start to get offended that some of the Japanese elites have started to openly come out and say that the good Japanese were the real and only victims of the Second World War.
Yeah those troublemaking Chinese.... if it's not complaining about having their land stolen under the now null treaty of Shimoneseki, it's complaining about historical genicide waged against them....
smithinjapan
Quite the pants this guy is wearing! Good on the police for stopping him.

Even if Japan builds the oil pumps and holds an official ceremony announcing globally the that the islands are indeed China's; these people will find something other reasons to be anti-Japan.

Funny that his fashion is a direct Harajuku export
WilliB
I bet that young punk had never heard about the islands before the state propaganda machine made them an issue. Gullible fools.

The biggest crime is those skinny jeans he's wearing. Looks like he has a...Samsung Galaxy smartphone in his pocket.
These protest are getting out of control. The is like a protest in almost every country in the Asian pacific region.
Probie
Wow. He's dressed looking so cool and everything...
Virtuoso
The young gentlemen badly needs a benefactor to take him aside and give him some sensible advice about wardrobe color coordination. It's hard to blame him for demonstrating, since he's just following (government) orders. I have a friend who teaches at a high school in Shanghai and she admitted to me that instructors at her institution are regularly ordered to serve up nationalistic fervor as a part of their extracurricular duties.
