Unbelievable that it took 9 years to lift this ban. They must have amazingly strict food safety laws in the Philippines.

Fukushima rice is sold as industrial rice and bought by chain restaurant businesses. You are probably already eating it?

Sad but true! The same is also true for all those food products like rice that are mixed with more than two sources!

I am not because I only eat brown rice.

Most Japanese rice is brown before it is polished, so it is possible that Fukushima manufacturers can also sell brown rice mixed with brown rice from other prefectures in a "mixed product".

Coincidentally this ban is lifted by the time Japan considering a plan to release millions of gallons of irradiated to sea and air. Of course plan to release this water will give reason for countries that already impose restriction like South Korea to continue their policy.
