If that's Ueno Park I saw the same/similar cats there last year. Are they trained to do this?

Honestly, have these people never seen a cat before? What is with this cat obsession in Tokyo? Poor things. No wonder they are in a tree and away from the people.

The cats and people make it interesting. The cherry blossoms are beautiful, of course, but I have SOOOO many pics of cherry blossoms that I can't be bothered to take them anymore if there isn't something else in the pic.

Not a single smile anywhere on the picture again, I notice. Just following the herd.

Many cats are stray ones all over in parks. They also must be happy about cherry as people feed them and get fat.

There are no "stray" cats. People don't own cats, cats own people.

Stray cat means "homeless" ones which people abandoned in parks. There are both real stray cats and some cats visit park near from their homes sometimes.

Looks like they're concentrating on taking a good picture. Do you always smile when you take a picture?

But, maybe they could use some cheering up. Perhaps you should head down there and tell them they should stop following the heard and lighten up. After all, going by all of the things you post on JT, you are just one great big bundle of joy and sunshine.

those cats must be wondering why humans are making a fuss about them lounging on the tree or perhaps they are afraid to get down with those people milling about
