I really respect the Japanese. Nothing will dampen their spirits, neither rain, nor wind and they can still enjoy. I think it's great. I really admire it, but for me, I hate the rain, the wind and the cold and being from California, I just love the sun too much.

Shame about the rain and the crazy wind.

Life is short. Many people would give a treasure to sit there but unfortunately they cannot. ENJOY, and there is always next year.

I was there on Saturday when it was beautiful, sunny, and much more crowded. Still the cherry blossom season is so short, that you have to enjoy it whenever you can.

Sadly, for many people it is the only chance they have. However, it also means that, those who have some flexibility will change their plans to next Sunday and it will be a nightmare everywhere!
