Of course cherry blossoms are pretty, and Japan is famous for them. But, I always liked plum blossoms more. There's just something about seeing the flowers while there's snow on the ground. And, I think they make better photography subjects because you can see more of the craggy/twisted limbs instead of just a solid blanket of flowers.

When I was a teenager (!) I'd just drink under them, but now as I get older I look up at them and really appreciate them.
