How the mighty hath fallen.

It was only a matter of time until another Yokozuna sold out... Like mokogohan said, wow how the mighty fall. I am just amazed at how fast it happens.

if you don't stay within the corrupted medieval confines of the sumo association, you are on your own in the world and make a buck as best you can.

wajima went to prowrestle, akebono the same ( plus k1) wakanohana had a failed nfl bid. Asa probably got a hefty fee to do that predator gig, make hay while the sun shines my son, make hay.

Exactly. I think he looks cool.

Might go and see "Predators".

What I really want is a decent AVP movie, preferably based on the Original AVP Graphic Novel.

How the mighty hath fallen.

Funny thing is, what Asa is doing now is more credible and respectable than the current state of play in Sumo! It has now descended into a grub-fest.

This is a great picture of the day! So, Asa would like to be a Predator! He would make a great Predator!

Yes, isn't it ironic that he got out just before all this xxx hit the fan. Then again, its been hitting the fan for quite some time now. Probably why he got out in the first place.

I'm reminded of Alan Rickman's character in Galaxy Quest: 'By Graktar's Hammer.... What great savings...'

I saw the trailer for this movie when I watched Iron Man 2 on Sunday. Pretty good cast, but I'm sure it will be very much like the Alien vs. Predator movie that came out a few years back. In other words, it'll likely be an effects driven movie with the same story, and nothing new to offer but cooler death sequences.

They should use these suits in Sumo.

Asa prob doesn't even know what a Predator is. Sad ? I guess. True ? No doubt about it. Meaning ? Hard to say...

"How the mighty hath fallen."

Oh, I doubt that very sincerely. He likely made considerable bank off of this brief appearance.

And he does look pretty darn cool in that costume.

I haven't seen a Predator movie since #2... have I been missing much?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Not really.

The AVP movies promised a lot but delivered little, from bad story-lines/scripting to do many effects, etc. IMHO.

Predators looks awesome. i can't wait.

I doubt it. It's suppose to capture the feel and character development of the team found in the original Schwarzenegger movie, deliberately avoiding the AVP influence.

I'll settle for an AVP2 copy where you can actually see what's going on.

That's worse then Akebobo trying to play drums in a fake band. From Yokozuna to nothing in seconds. Poof!

If Arnold Schwarzenegger or Danny Glover were to see this, I bet they'd say, "That's one ugly..."

That crotch guard is disturbing... not to mention about 7 segments too long.

Well if Predators is as good as 1 and 2 then I definitely want to see it. Was never interested in the AvP.

Let's see Asa sumo in this suit. Oh, he's retired & enjoying the movies!
