This kind of PR tells me that MUJ has no idea as to what they are doing as an organization.

The photo is bad

I think so too. It doesnt potray the graciousness of Japanese women. Bad impact on Ligron.

If you think Jun Sato did a bad job of taking the photos you are very, very wrong,

The photo is bad, some of the girls in the last row are hardly seen, or are they hiding deliberately?

HOT HOT HOT!

Meh.

They all look great, simple as that!

LoveUSA at 06:43 PM JST - 6th December PHOTO BY JUN SATO If you think Jun Sato did a bad job of taking the photos you are very, very wrong, I saw a whole collection of photos in Jiji tsushin yesterday and they didn’t look any better. They couldn’t look any better. I was with a number of Japanese women when we were looking at the photos and ALL of them were disgusted by this selection. Singapore bar girls seemed to be the most votes for what they looked like and I think they were being kind. Singapore bar girls would at least be sexy, something few of these girls seem to be. They do not in any way represent Japanese women even if they are such. I find it sad this lot are going to be seen as Japan’s beautiful women when they are anything but beautiful.

You need to get a new monitor, Emiri Miyasaka is wearing a white dress, not a yellow dress.

This lineup tells me that most attractive, talented Japanese women don't want to have anything to do with the Miss Universe competition.

I think the one whose head is directly above the purple dress girl's, with something pink around her neck and a bob haircut is the one with most possibilities. Right now she might look like a flight attendant, but I think she is the one with better chances of the whole lot of prospects.

They get my vote! Japanese girls are fine with me.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Emiri front left is the most beautiful of all.

The one in the gold top would not look out of place in Jimmy`s Bar in "Good Morning Vietnam". The one standing next to her definately floats my boat though.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Heck, they're wearing stiletto high heels and, believe me, they are all ok in my books. I'd take them all on a whirl on the dance floor.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I like all of them, except the two in front. Emiri should donate about three inches of bone from each leg to those people in China getting the leg extention surgery. But if somebody likes that, ok then.

Yeah some of them have that bar chick look, but that is not a bad thing. It just means they are more sexy to guys than pretty or cute or some other description. Its all good.

I'm getting a little tired of the over-the-top, constantly in your face PR style of MUJ. It would help the organization for it to not come across as so self-absorbed, narcissistic and desperate for attention.

PS The girls did not even iron their dresses

Ligron has good style for herself in classic black and white, I wonder why she chose those cheap, gaudy and shiny outfits for her apprentices.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Where did all the grace go they once were famous were?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

So that's the lady who designed that tragic kimono and suspenders outfit. She handpicks the girls and the clothes, and I have to say she has odd taste. Quite a number of those girls look like bar hostesses in those outfits, and I agree, many of them don't look very Japanese, although I'm sure they are.

Maybe Jun Sato was not able to deliver the best photo which does justice to the candidates...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The one in the blue/purple dress and the one in the gold top on the left like like bar chicks - they also don't look veyr Japanese and VERY Asian. The one touching her hair is cute but I don't think any of them are sexy or going to blow away the judges.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Well it looks like Ligron has her work cut out for her...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Ah, these bony legs and these knees...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The finalists look more Chinese to me than Japanese....hmmm..funny!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

the westner women looks..eww? lol idk how to put it in xD

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Frankly, this just objectifies women.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

the makeup and clothes and shoes don't impress me. At least they don't look like they dyed their hair.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Wow, all of you are tough. I'm sure if you saw most of these ladies in person, you'd think otherwise. I bet they were asked to be casual for this press conference, photo op.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I love Japan...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I don't see anyone in purple dress. However the 3 a little in background from left could be as well working in the local drinking pub with the same dress.

Oh, maybe they did.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The third in the second row could be something but the rest looks totally average.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Are you sure this is the right pic? I think the M/U finalists got switched accidentally with someone's pic for starting up their own escort service.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

This has got to be a joke. These are no where near the quality people expect at the Universe level. I have seen better looking women on the train, out shopping, going to the movies or just roaming around.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

How are thee the finalists? I see better stuff on the train every day.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Rather a buff and hard looking bunch, and Emiri Miyasaka looks like she is on stilts under that yellow affair.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Ines Ligron's skirt is just a tad too long.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The only explanation to this fiasco is that this is the "before" picture. None of these girls shows the polish needed to win a crown. Looks like a lineup from your friendly neighbourhood soapland. All they would need would be number plates and Mrs. Ligron could open up shop for herself in no time.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Another kimono massacre would do the magic . . .

0 ( +0 / -0 )

the only two women who are dressed well are the French lady and Emiri. Ines Ligron gave bad fashion advice to the girls because maye she wants to look more beautiful than them lol

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I don't see any of them doing well in next year's competition. The only winner here is Ms. Ligron. She is making a killing off the dreams of these women. The only thing Ms. Ligron is really doing for them is helping the ladies find a rich sugar daddies.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I agree with LoveUSA. Some of them are pretty, some are quite average, but none of them really come out as stunning to me.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

they look quite "cheap"... mostly the purple lady !

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Someone does not belong in the photo. Hmmm who could it be?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

these are the finalists? Based on the photo I am not optimistic for the rank of Mss Japan at Miss universe 2010 competition.

good morning!
