It's a narrow body so it looks as if it's big.

Second, a mock up is built to show how spacious the cabin is the carrier can configure actual seating arrangements.

Third the seats are one of the innovation of this plane which is 25% thinner while securing the same comfort as present seats so within same pitch you have more leg room which the mock-up is trying to show.

That's because no one has sat in those seats yet. Are they crazy? White shows every little stain, there's no way those seats will look like that after a couple of flights, especially if they allow kids, ha ha!

it's beautiful and it looks stifling, maybe that's why they chose a light color.

It would look more realistic if they threw some newspapers and food on the floor.

It seems that Japan does not want to buy jets from other countries in the future and also wants to support to domestic airlines and to sell overseas. MRJ looks not bad.

Well designed, clean lines, single aisle, twin rows, well done. Buying local helps the economy and there's nothing wrong with that. As a regional jet, it's going to be economical to run and likely not divided by classes, meaning more passengers and lower fuel/seat mile costs. Another very good idea.

It's a beautiful looking plane, but unfortunately Mock-ups do not fly. Just ask Boeing. They have a long way to go to make this thing happen. But the white seats will have to go....

United will find a way to fit 2 times more people in it to fly.

The design phase finished this month and are now in the manufacturing phase. She is scheduled to make her maiden test flight in 2012 if everything goes according as planned.

Good for Japan, producing your own aircraft is a very good thing.

japan shud hv done this considering countries like canada,brazil (both of which are not as developed as japan) hv been doing this .
