I had to laugh at the name of this trade show, Life Ending Industry Expo — it sounds like a trade show for companies in the euthanasia business.

This is obviously the official translation of the expo's Japanese name, "ending industry expo" (エンディング産業展), but "End of Life Industry Expo" would have been a somewhat better translation.

lol.. bad luck amy here.. not only does she get to 'rest' on that casket, it also gets photographed and posted in a national online article. lol

I can think of all kinds of jobs I would not want to do ... and this is definitely one of them. Not hard to do ... but can you imagine lying there for a long time while people watch you "work" ...

"Life Ending" may be a translation of the recentish buzzword "shukatsu" 終活 (lit "end activity" or "end life" punning on job seeking 就活 and related to partner seeking konkatsu 婚活) .
