'Kabocha' as pictured is actually a member of the gourd genus, and is not a pumpkin.

I really like Kusama's art and the pumpkin is a famous example of it. Whether that's a suitable piece for this location is debatable, but I bet its a big tourist attraction, it looks made for selfies, and the local people will welcome its return.

It's in exactly in the right place - exactly!
