A beautiful place of worship and the dwelling of the Shinto Gods where you pay respect and pray for good fortune.

"Traditional Shrine"

traditional adjective 1 traditional Christmas fare: long-established, customary, time-honored, established, classic, accustomed, standard, regular, normal, conventional, usual, orthodox, habitual, set, fixed, routine, ritual; old, age-old, ancestral.

Uh, this? This Is candy-apple red. It looks like something either the musician Prince would be driving or it was recently dipped in Revlon.

I agree. Cool photo and beautiful shrine.

I'm guessing it's been rebuilt a few times.

Either that, or the brick and stone masons back in 1606 were 409 centuries ahead of their time!

As opposed to a "non-traditional" shrine? What does that entail? Nice pic -- pretty gleaming and new for something so traditional. I'm guessing it's been rebuilt a few times.
