Women riding on a "mikoshi" or portable shrine cheer on people as they carry it into the sea during a festival to wish for calm waters in the ocean and good fortune in the new year, in Oiso, Kanagawa prefecture, on Friday morning.

In the summer omikoshi events, Japanese chicks look so cool on top of the omikoshis, guiding and cheering-on all the men.

Perhaps this one should feature a few more women on the shrine. And when they finally emerge from tha' sea, they can have a quick "Wet T-Shirt" Contest.
