Why would it scare you ? He said the kid is cute, not "wow, she is sexy".

It's a sad world when you describe a kid as cute (nothing wrong with that) and someone thinks you are a pedophile.

mana-chan is overexposed. her "cute"ness is wearing thin about now.

Gotta go Hide on this one. Just Googled some of Mana's photos and I have to say that she's cute in a good wholesome way.

I find her voice annoying in TV CMs but she is a cute little girl and will likely grow up into an actress.

@hide yes its a sad world when you call girls cute and they also dance around in skimpy constumes and pose in swimwear (eg AKB48) If you going to exploit sexuality in girls of legal age, then make them look like mature sexy women not young adolescent girls. and you wonder why people get worried and the word pedophile comes up constantly.

There is nothing wrong with the girl it is just the overexposed that is driving a few of us nuts!

Why are you ragging on a little girl anyway? Even if she is overexposed, it's by no fault of her own.

i for one have grown up around kids and i find them down right adorable ! they bring smiles to my day and lighten my mood, they also help you tap into your inner kid

The word 'cute' irritates me no end anyway and I'm becoming physically allergic to the word 'kawaii' after 14 years here. Can I say she's 'pretty' without fear of eyebrows reaching the back of another's head? My dictionary gives 'adorable, cute, charming, lovely,pretty' for 'Kawaii'. Is 'cute' the only sinister adjective here because of it's closer association with 'kawaii'? I'm not being facetious or pedantic.

I hope these two child stars are allowed to grow up as normal kids and are not the products of pageant parents.

saying Mana-chan is NOT an actress has never seen here in any of the work she has done. The kid is good, no matter what some people think.

I actually meant that I find it refreshing that mana-chan is dressed as a little girl in a pretty dress, as opposed to the current trend of dressing young children in very short shorts / skirts and high heels...

I've watched her dramas of Marumo no okite (2011) and Beautiful rain (2012); she played her roles very well. She is a rising star.....
