I hope we don't now have to read about some people in the US complaining that Obama bowed to a robot.

Can't wait for Fox News to lose their sh*t that President Obama bowed to a robot. ;)

Just imagine what the comments would be like if Obama had an (R) behind his name.

Pretty cool museum. I went last year. That robot was awesome.... when it was built 14 years ago!!!! That massive globe they have that is a video screen is 1000 times cooler.

What version of the Asimo did they have as it gets updated with new functions and abilities all the time? You can't buy only for rent.

Obama took a soccer pass from it.

Seriously? Of all the things they need to chat about Abe is taking him to look at robots??

This robot is cuter than a bi-linguistic robot receptionist I met in a Vegas Electronic Convention several years ago. Watch out. You have to find out who is a real life person or who is a robot.

Pres. Obama met a robot in Japan ! Who coached him how to bow as a head of USA? Maybe he knows about Japan just like Ambassador Kennedy,

How about the robot going into the Fukushima nuclear power plant? That is the real "R2-D"2 type of hero. This one is just a protocol droid.

Not the human lookalike robot but various large robotic gadgets are already in use.

Bowing to a robot?! What the?!

Yes, good. Start showing submissiveness now and maybe when Robots take over the world they'll be nicer to us.

Obama should have kowtowed to the superior robot.

@tmarie: Why so serious all the time?! Relax.... It's not like they're gonna be in meetings 24/7!

At least someone appears to have coached him on the proper mode of bowing a superior uses. Slight bow, head and eyes up.

Japanese robots are great at bowing. They're not so good at locating missing airliners or clearing debris from radiation-spewing nuclear plants.
