Beautiful. I do like the tree lights at any time of year - especially those vertical ones that look like falling rain. I wish we had them every evening after dusk. We could have seasonal colours, too - pink, yellow, green... It makes walking down the street so much more pleasurable.

"Does that mean until 12am Tuesday morning December 25 or throughout the evening of December 25? I'm guessing 12am Tuedsay morning...."

@ Serrano - How about you enjoy the lights that are NOW ON DISPLAY, instead of worrying about semantics? Besides, everyone knows that the world is going to explode or something before that light display is up, according to the Mayan calendar. Bwahaha.

Agent - I just wanted to make sure the illumination will still be illuminated when I go there the evening of December 25, even if all the other Christmas decorations are taken down, lol.

Too early with the Christmas lights if the trees are STILL LOADED WITH GREEN LEAVES!!! I'm looking at pictures from the years before and this just looks wrong. The lights look weak. The effect of the trees being covered in snow and the the place looking like a winter wonderland does not work with all the green leaves. Before you start to point out that half of the world will be enojying the start of summer just before Christmas, I am well aware of that and it's even sadder for those areas when they try to make it look like winter.

So, no Christmas for the southern hemisphere and a large part of the northern half too, then? And those areas with lots of evergreens may as well pack away the decorations and throw out the Christmas scene, with its decidedly wrong desert environment..

Ladies and gentlemen, Christmas is cancelled (unless you live in a place which conforms strictly to the rules of Christmas as shown on a traditional Christmas card).
