Royal horses

Imperial Household Agency horses are exercised outside the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Wednesday. The horses are used to draw carriages at special ceremonies.

what a beautiful pair of horses. It's nice to see Royal customs are still used.

Horses are beautiful. However, not all Royal just use horses. Some use Donkeys (asses) in the Southern hemisphere in the Americas, and in the Middle East Camels take the honor.

Poor things with the heat and humidity. I hope they are well taken care off in their off time.

These are Cleveland Bay horses, originally an English breed. It's the same type of horse that pulls the Queen's royal carriage.
