It seems that Suga-san is working around the clock on this issue. He made the initial announcement on Yukawa's probable death shortly after midnight this morning and seems to be putting in a full day today (Sunday) on this story. Showing that he's an energetic guy ...

edojin - it's his job to work around the clock on issues like this.

In fact if he didn't then we'd all have a duty to complain.

A browbeaten and visibility exhausted Chief Cabinet Secretary. Yoshihide Suga appears to be hanging on to that lectern for dear life. He is battling to save the life of Journalist Kenji Goto, whose family are hanging on his every word. Who would exchange places with him.

It must be incredibly difficult and painful to make announcements of this nature. "What would you say in a press conference?" This is so sad. My heart and prayers go out to the families of the people.

Yes, he looks tired. I would be too, and as a deaf person, I appreciate the fact he's got a signer next to him. Shows some class.

He looks tired? He looks like that at every single press event he's given. He looks like the most disinterested and pretentious guy I've ever seen
