Very interesting that that no one is wearing masks when meeting the PM, especially after coming back from overseas.
NOT making a judgement call. Just thought it was interesting.

nice to meet you before I raise your taxes

Kishida is so desperate he will jump on any gravy train.
Can't ever think the LDP supporting soccer in the nation unless it was to build another pork barrel stadium in the middle of nowhere.

Perk of the PM job.
I thought the TV shows were interesting too, showing lots of unmasked Japanese people cheering on their team. It struck me as odd, as if there is some behind doors arrangements being made to try to make unmasking seem normal again here.
I am fully in favour personally.

They can now sign contracts for overseas clubs. You’d have to be a no hoper not to leave Japans dead end league. And the crushing taxes.

Hopefully, you’ve learned some lessons(!)

Nice to see some smiles with the PM. The team looked a little down at the airport two days ago. Well done Japan and better luck in 2026!

What for? He’ll be out in 6 months.

Well done and thanks, Samurai Blue !!..
And what if they all were tested before entering the country and they were negative, the masks were removed just for the photo?????
How much drama..

Congratulations to Kishida for getting to meet some famous, useful Japanese stars.
