I expect more of this with the success of the Shogun reboot.

If you've not seen it, the trailer of the original Shogun from the 1980s is hilarious. I suspect Police Squad used same narrator, and even if they didn't, they copied this style so well that even regular tv done straight from that era now sounds like a parody.
