I wonder where they get these names like "sancta carina"? Do they make them up themselves?

Looks more like a sexy court jester outfit instead

Wow! Great legs.

Doesn't this look like something a Las Vegas hooker would wear?

I'll have to take your word on that as I have never, to the best of my knowledge, seen a Vegas hooker, but that dress is certainly not something I would expect to see at a wedding.

Legs are alittle stubby, if it wasn't for the heels she wouldn't be much. Clean looking face though.

Yes, and the letter from Viv Westwood's lawyers is on the post.

Great legs or not, upon seeing that getup, any potential groom would run as far away as possible before the ceremony could get started!

Sancta Carina

Perhaps she meant czarina, which is a Russian princess.

Meh, I don't think so. Any guy running from her would probably be afraid to dare something wild. I think the outfit is cool. Matching one for the groom perchance?

No thank you.

Nice clean looking face, white complexion, symetrical features.. I'd give it an 8.3 out of 10.

Honestly to me that looked quite shocking & not like a wedding dress, but then possibly in Japan appearances are that different in weddings. Mind you the costly wedding dresses used here in North American are a waste of money to so many even after the wedding or during it.

A goth/heroin wedding is it?

Seems a bit much for a "hirouen." And what the hell is she holding? Good looking girl though.

Another gaudy terror. Why the hat and what is she carrying in her hand? Something to bash the clothing critics into submission?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Yeah, this dress makes her look like an entertainer-hooker in old Western movies, working at the bar with a room in the second floor.

Looks like some sort of club -- presumably to knacker the groom should her outfit start giving him second thoughts and he tries to escape.

Because Old West Cabaret girls sometimes get married too...

Very Strange costumes young women wear, I would not be seen in anything like that and I would be angry if my daughter looked like that or GAGA Lady, all of this is just to be noticed but who wants to be noticed looking like a peacock on parade.

this is no wedding dress!

Cool, but too loud for my tastes. If I ever got married (hahaha) I would go for black instead.

It looks like she's carrying an old-fashioned cane, of the sort we imagine Victorian men have.

What she is carrying is a walking stick style cane, to go with her top hat, and on the top it is hard to tell for certain but when i look close to me it looks like a golden bird.. the bird has its face buried in her dress and the wing and tail tips are poking out possibly. As far as the whole outfit, think Chara instead of Lady Gaga ne? Personally i think the dress is fun and would be fine for a wedding if the groom has some outfit that goes well with it! There is so many theme wedding gowns and none of them are traditional, but that does not make them wrong, only different. At least with this outfit you could use it again - you could go out to the clubs this way or to Harajuku Station!

i bet this is only one of those fancy dresses brides-to-be wear during their photo montage shoot... can't imagin this get worn during the official ceremony. kinda weird~

It looks like the wedding gown of a Kevin Costner block blunder. Perhaps the Postman or Waterworld. Terrible.

Hot mess...Only in Japan...

i wore a piece of crap like to a cosplay convention and it cost me $67 i bet this thing is worth 10X that

Funnily I actually like it. I could imagine the groom waering the male version of same costume. Future wedding costumes should be whatever design the couple prefer! That'd more muhc more interesting!

seems like Japanese celebs need only 5 mins of fame and then for some inexplicable reason start designing wedding dresses with no talent whatsoever. Ill file this under my "only in Japan" file.

YIKES. That ain't no wedding dress!

Thought it over a bit & feel what she is carrying in her left hand is a horse whip so she can put the poor new husband into order.

@blunderbuss: you are trying to say " carica" i suppose? ugly dress, not nice legs and both combination possible to see only in Japan
