A big sand sculpture of Godzilla and the Tokyo metropolitan government building stand in Shinjuku Chuo Park. The 3-meter-high sculpture uses 50 tons of sand. Godzilla is a tourism ambassador for Shinjuku. The sculpture will be on display until Sept 27.

I'm not a fan of Godzilla, but the sculpture is impressive.

Projecting a commanding presence! So Sandy Godzilla will remain in the park until the last Sunday of this month. Hopefully, it will be preserved and exhibited permanently, say, in a museum and such.

Too bad they can't keep that 'cast' permanently somewhere. That is a lot of of highly detailed work!
