A visitor walks about a toilet decorated with 72,000 pieces of crystal from Swarovski AG of Austria on display in Tokyo, on Tuesday. The toilet is valued at 10 million yen, although it is not for sale. It is displayed at a showroom of Lixil, a firm that owns toilet maker Inax.

A child dies every 5 seconds from hunger in this world, and then I see crap (no pun intended) like this. It makes me ashamed to be human.

Something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

I wonder if they have this toilet covered? Because they are afraid of theft or that someone may actually try to use it?

If it came with crystal toilet paper it would be a smash hit for a glass house. I like the design.

Well with that logic, you are saying you should never be happy because someone is always suffering. Human nature is to be happy though... You cannot escape your happiness!
