Most "not an adult entertainment" places are just the opposite. They just have the sign posted to keep cops away.

I used to get full-body massages (of the non-adult entertainment type) out in California. They used scented oils as well. IMHO the massage itself was much more relaxing than the scents ever were.

So the spelling is not perfect, but the bit about beautiful girls would be catching my eye. As for "aroma message" well that is a new one to me.

One has to wonder if the people with said sign might have competitive signs to obtain more business?????

Relax, it's just a back rub with scented oils.

So help me on this... do they massage you with aromas or do they massage your aroma for you (eww!)? Did they really mean what we here call "aroma therapy" (which, to me, just seems like an excuse to sell scented candles.)

economy must be tough if their advertising to get foreigners

Yeah, I can remember when the touts wouldn't dare speak to a gaijin. Things are slow all over.

Personally I consider beautiful girls adult entertainment.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

How do they massage your aroma?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Of course, if it had started with "Well Come", that'd have me very unsure.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

This is also a funny spelling, "Enter tai ment" means "Hairi tai" :D

if I didnt know better, I'd say what 10y.o. wrote this?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Is that an order, 'Come here' ?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

snicker, chuckle I don't know where to begin with this pic.

Of course. Another great photo for Kong. He has a keen eye for the odd signs and sights in Japan.

"Only beutiful girls" and "Not Adult Entertaiment" just doesn't seem right being on the same sign. Hmmmmmmm?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Spelling error : entertaiment

Enter Tai Ment :-)

That's what I said.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Should be a kanji sign too. Because we all know the all Asian countries have two types of massage. Real massage and " Happy Ending " massage.

Spelling error : entertaiment

Enter Tai Ment :-)

This is really a perverse method. Consider that these beautiful girls don't make any effect on you during the massage ^^ how to retain his exitation whereas these flavors can be aphrodisiac? :)

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Well, if they are drop dead beautiful....

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Its cute ~ a nice photo of the day.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Who needs to be entertained? Many just want a happy ending.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

japanese english is always great fun:)

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Isn't there three 'n's in entertainment.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Sorry, but looking at the Japanese signs on the pole to the right it sounds to me to be dodgy. Even the 'ear cleaning' says, "Hizamakura mimikaki", which is to say, you lie on a woman's lap while she does it.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

So what's the original sign behind this one say?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Does "Aroma" actually mean "healthy"???

0 ( +0 / -0 )

You have to love it.....

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Attracting the tourists.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

"come here :-)"...and I thought it was JUST an aroma massage.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Dang it, I was looking for adult entertainment...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

shameful, shameful...this country is going down the sewer...yuck!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Maybe it is something like this : Only beautiful girls work here to provide aroma massage for customers. Massage only ,no sex.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I'm going to guess that only beautiful girls refers to customers, ie it's for women only.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

That's why I love Japan....very innocent.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

ummm if you see the Japanese sign, it is talking about that "ear cleaning" stuff that was going on last year, which WAS a cover story for adult entertainment.......so the English is probably just to throw poor dumb gaijins off the track of what they are actually supposed to be getting?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

"Aroma Massage". You mean the place stinks?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I think the bigger contradiction is the "come here" noted on the sign. Talk about mixed signals.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

That's interesting, as JA Cruise said - advertising to get the gaijin dollar. I wonder if the "beautiful girls" who perform this wonderful "Aroma Massage" service are also gaijin?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

minor typo: "entertaiment"

0 ( +0 / -0 )

contradiction - not adult but only beautiful? Why not hire oba-sans who have been massaging for years?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

economy must be tough if their advertising to get foreigners...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

'Only beautiful girls' are admitted to the shop?

No only 'entertaiment'. Whatever that is.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Yeah, right!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Isn't that the same thing?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

'Only beautiful girls' are the service provider or 'Only beautiful girls' are admitted to the shop?
