And therefoe, they can launch fireworks more large-flowered.
On the other hand, Area have no river or beach can not launch more large-flowered,
there is a risk of fire.
Many many people can feel their own whole body shake when they explode.

I love fireworks in Japan! I go to the one in Minatomirai (Yokohama) almost every year. (August 1st)
Depends on your definition of "near"...
It's approx. an hour and half by train or car from Roppongi on my google map.
