Participants carry a large traditional "koinobori" at a parade demanding that all nuclear power plants be halted and remain offline in Japan as part of an event for Earth Day in Tokyo on Sunday. The carp banners are put up in Japan from April to early May to wish for the good health of children.

At last I see people here giving their opinions and complaining when they disagree with the government! (although I can't agree with them in this particular matter)
It's a shame that there are only a few hundreds there, I guess that they are the only ones that "give a carp".
