Astronaut and space cadet.

Please take this space cadet up there with you and send him out of the air lock. Attach a harness to him so we can see him drift about until he looks down at Japan to how much damage the Fukushima meltdown caused. Maybe then he'll forget about turning on those nuclear power plants.

Where is his little robotic assistant / coworker?

Don't forget to thank the Russians for getting you up there.

It seems that the US, Russia and China would never get along for each other. The US is democracy, Russia is socialism and China is communist. Should not count on each other.

He'll be the last Japanese guy in space for a long time unless Japan cuddles up to Russia again.

While I appreciate that Russia is persona non-grata at the current time, this panel is a bit much. With the prominent Japanese flag you would think that Japan had got its own astronaut into orbit.

The display of models is at least relatively representative. They have the Russian Soyuz craft that got them up there, the ISS itself, and the Japanese Kibo unit that was the addition Japan provided to the ISS (although it needed the shuttles to get it there, the only model left out).

Just as I always thought... Abé-san is really "dans la lune"...

It's always like that! Half of the Japanese people I know think that the first man on the moon was Japanese!
