Did they have this meeting in a storage room or something?

Suga: "Now, we know you guys are all doing double jobs as Lawmakers, and that's hard, or that you are retired from various fields and have been waiting for a new job like this, but lets form some great panels to think about intelligence!"

Interesting that in the picture there's only one woman shown as having the required special intelligence. Is she the role model for womenomics the panel's looking for?

Wha, if any special background to they have? Who are these faceless specialists?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

No smart / special young people?

Check out that age & gender diversity!

Is it just me, or does anyone else sense a resurgence of the Kempeitai in the wind?

PT -- thought the same thing. But I think the answer is simply that in Japan, only men can possess "special intelligence".

I didn't even notice her ! But now that I have, I wonder if she's only there - sitting right at the back - because her job is to "open the door" for the men ?

Depressing, cant see this doing much good, more likely the opposite I am afraid!

Resurgence of the Tokkō (Thought Police).

All these people will be doing is reading and coordinating the forwarding of email alerts from foreign (US) intelligence.

LoL, I was thinking the same. If anything, they probably excel in political science and are bi / tri-lingual.

btw, love those suits.

Indeed, thats because Japanese are different from anyone else on the planet as we all have been told about ( brains, stomachs, intestines,,,etc ). If you dont accept this indisputable fact it just proves that as a gaijin you dont understand Japan :).

I'm amazed they have that many. Just seems like a token gesture, and as Viking says, is only there to hold the doors or make drinks.

They're still looking for an individual with that so please post your resumes.

Even so, if South Korea has has just captured four Indonesian Al-Nusra Jihadis then you have to seriously wonder for a moment about who indeed might be in Japan...

Are on something? Bi/tri-lingual politicians in Japan? Yeah, right.
