Renho and Fukuyama are wearing something that approximates Cool Biz, but the others? Saito looks like he's in his loungewear.

Great use of English, Adidas! >_<

If I walked into our Tokyo head office wearing that, they would escort me out the back door and send me home. We have a policy of "hot, stuffy biz" where we turn EVERYTHING off but the lights and everyone must wear the requisite ossan-style suit and tie regardless of the weather.

The guy in the red sports top. Yeah right, can you imagine any business office allowing their staff to wear that.

I agree with 'Super Cool Biz' trouble is, most decision/policy makers in the office are made by stubborn old men who simply refuse to (or don't know how to) accept anything new.

Junichi is the only one man in the group who looks in good shape and fit and he is the oldest. Age is just a number.

I read the company name as Bramate - what does that say about my mind? Speaking of which, Renho looks fantastic in this pic.

God, I would absolutely LOOOOVE it if what these guys are saying was taken as the new standard.

I could have sprinted to work today on my carbon road bike, sat by the drinks machine with a towel round my head for 20 mins, then peeled off my lycra next to a giant fan, towelled myself down, then put on loose fitting Italian designer apres-bike gear, then went to work...

Oh hang on...

I DID!!!

LoveNot -- thanks for the laugh. While I agree with your comment that "age is just a number", Junichi hardly strikes me as being in good shape or fit. Like most J-men he is simply thin because of genetics. My guess is he has not really exercised in years, and probably has little actual muscle mass/tone. Only 3% of Japanese belong to gyms/health clubs, and he does not look like one of them to me. Being thin is not the same as being fit.

I fail to find anything cool about this.
