Great lineup for Summer Sonic this year. Wish I could I have gone. Looks like great fun.

Top left hand corner, tiger.

Man, it must've been toasty with all those people there yesterday. 37 degrees seemed to be the average in Kanto.

For the 6,000 yen they paid, the fans in the photo's foreground had really great seats.

I went Friday night for Sonic Mania and Saturday, but didn't go Sunday. M.I.A played an incredible set actually. Saturday was incredibly hot though, sort of glad I didn't go yesterday.

I went to Summer Sonic a few years ago... Blazing hot. If they could only do it during one of the cooler months, or hold a similar star-studded event in spring or fall?

it's not indoors with aircon? No thank you

Incredibly hot on the floor, Saturday. 37 in the shade, but I would say early afternoon during the One OK Rock set it would have been in the 40s down the front in the blazing sun. A lot of people suffered heat stroke, especially when they were trying to leave the stadium floor due to the queues at the exits. I would imagine it was similar yesterday. It was a relief to get into the Messe to watch a few bands.

Where's Wally?

I've heard that the Chiba concerts are in an airconditioned stadium, and the Osaka Summer Sonics are outside. Maybe one reason for the ticket price difference between the cities.

Having just been to a game at Kyocera Dome, when it gets crowded, the air conditioning in a stadium doesn't really keep you cool like in smaller room. Makuhari Messe looks packed in this picture.
