Brings back great memories. Still one of the best things I ever did.

It was about this time when he thought "Did I lock my car door?"

One can hardly see the summit. When climing mountains in Alberta & B.C., from '47 till '60 it was lovely to see the crouds, but hardly any of the summits, but if so they were outstanding to our eyes.

If we were not to far from farms, like many miles, it was so obvious to see the farm lands in sort of squares as so operated on.

I went to Shizuoka in Feb for the supposed great view of Mt Fuji. All I saw was a bunch of rain.

Brings back bad memories. Of course this view is vastly better than the view I had, which was nothing but white fog...

Beautiful !

You certainly have heard this very old saying that “He who climbs Mt. Fuji once is a wise man; he who climbs it twice is a fool”.

The last time I admired Mount Fuji with a stunning view, was from the airplane window, when leaving Narita.

I've climbed many mountains around the world and Fuji is not high on the list of memorable climbs. Its a large ashtray jam backed with hordes of people. Litter is everywhere along the trail and the climb itself isn't very interesting or imaginative. However the views from the top can be breathtaking.

This picture is from the second time that I was climbing the Mount Fuji, hehe.

The first one I did it in 2005, in a short 20 days trip to Japan and I didn't know there was a typhoon hitting at the time, so it was basically horrible... that's the main reason why know that I am living here for a year I had to see the damn sunrise... and it was really worth it. The climbing is very easy comparing to other mountains anyway...

I told the whole story in my blog: http://magudo.tumblr.com/page/5
