The only present that dolphin wants is to be swimming free in the ocean.

Aww so cute.

Sad.
At least the seats look pretty sparsely filled. Maybe more people are realising this kind of thing is not entertainment.
nath
Chummy with dolphins or dolphin chum?
Andreas Zachcial
Animal cruelty japanese style! Give him his freedom you damn morons!!
Illyas
You don't know that.

Dolphins are wild animals that belong in the wild.
kwatt
It seems that many dolphins born in aquarium are treated the same way like pets. These are no longer wild.
paulinusa
If all those captive born dolphins are so happy maybe the catching of wild ones should stop.
MissingCylonModel
I wonder why the dolphin didn't like it and decided to return it. Hopefully the trainer kept the receipt.

not very good show. They could at least have glued a white beard onto the dolphin or dressed it up in an elves costume, no?

Animal Cruelty, let the damn things go, don't cage the animals up for your selfish 10 minutes of entertainment.
You want to see dolphins go to NZ they swim freely in the harbours, they can be seen in Auckland harbour playing with the pleasure boats and will race your boat and play in the boats wake.
All caged animals should be set free, if you want to view them go to a sanctuary or that type of environment.

The dolphin must be a foreigner. no self respecting Japanese dolphin would EVER return a present to the gift giver.....

Twenty-second century people will look at this the same way we regard the existence of Roman gladiators: utterly barbaric.
tinawatanabe
There are people who are too sick, poor, busy, lazy to go to NZ.

Back on topic please.

I'm too busy and too poor to watch Coventry City (my favourirte team) play footballl.
But I wouldn't demand the right to have the players captured in a net and kept in a "footballarium" for my entertainment.
bruinfan
Not a bottlenose dolphin...
DaDude
Because Japan is the only country to have dolphins in a sea life park? The only country to have dolphins do tricks?
