@Linda
All due respect, but nobody is forcing her to do this.
The rayon, on the other hand, had no say in getting spun into that costume.
Vince Black
She certainly has "talent"
blue in green
Attractive girl,
modeling a highly unflattering outfit.

Also, has anyone else noticed all these Japanese companies using variations of the same slogan?
Toray has "Innovation by Chemistry"
Nitto Denko has "Innovation for Customers"
and there are plenty more I can't think of right now. Makes you wonder if they al use the same ad agency and get to pick their slogan out of a hat.

Hope this is sarcasm

horrible outfit...

I hope those are Toray textiles being deployed. Otherwise what would be the point of the photo?

Brightened up a rather dull morning...

When i first saw the pic on my phone i thought she was wearing some sort of 70-80s pro wrestling trunks. Much better on a bigger screen. The kind of swimsuit you can wear off the beach, especially the top.
Hope ugly tutu/skirted swimsuits -for adults- which are/were so popular all over Asia are a thing of the past.

I wondered what had happened to my granny's underpants.

Never seen a day’s sunlight in her life.
nandakandamanda
I am having trouble seeing her as a sex object. Is there something wrong with me?
Confused in Japan.
Wakarimasen
That's a swimsuit?

pretty lady

Wat are you talking about objectifying women? She has a job being cute. Good for her! Are you jelly?
Serrano
"There are so many things wrong with that photo."
No, there aren't.

Not only is Sawa Matsuda a pretty lady but she looks normal and healthy. Most female models in US ads and magazines look sickly - too skinny, bags of bones. Broomstick limbs and you can see their ribs. Horrible, unhealthy and sick. There's enough pressure for teen girls and young women to look that way and press propaganda says 'America has an obesity epidemic' but that ain't what you see.

There's nothing wrong with this picture at all. She's cute, well-dimensioned, healthy, appealing and sexy.

Maybe it's the angle, but she hasn't got flattering proportions for a bikini model. Her trunk looks too long compared to her legs, even in very high heels."
Have to agree, no hips as well, but she seems like a nice person!
Vernon Watts
Hmmm. Dirty knees...

There are so many things wrong with that photo. Japanese girls have lost their sex appeal. Come on ladies step up your game. Your suppose to be some of the most beautiful women in the world!
Serrano
Oh my! Extremely nice!
"Her trunk looks too long compared to her legs"
No, it doesn't.
"horrible outfit / a highly unflattering outfit"
Not cute outfit?
"those colors do not match."
I think the white top and light blue bottoms go together nicely.
"Dirty knees"
They are not dirty. They are nice though!

She's apparently taller than Kawakubo Rei, but you wouldn't think it from this photo. Kawakubo Rei is much sexier than this.
Linda
Oh please. Will Japanese companies ever grow up and stop objectifying women? Makes me sick.
K3PO
I'm offended. This objectifies women.
