I agree with Kobayashi-san. Trump is a great friend of Japan, and the closest Leader in the world to PM Abe. His interest in Sumo and Japanese culture and cuisine will further endear himself to Japanese people, who already like him. People were cheering wildly for Trump at the Sumo. It puzzles me why citizens of Western Nations dislike Trump.

Japan does love TRUMP!!

Keep America Great 2020

Just goes to show that there is at least one simple mind easily influenced by Putin even in Japan...

Of course the other 150 million think he's an idiot and a moron...

Loves for power not for humanity. Funny president ever in US.

This presents a curious ‘circular logic’ type of argument.

Does he understand what his shirt says? Obviously not, if he has the intelligence of your average Trump supporter. But then, if he doesn’t understand what it says, then maybe he’s not a Trumper…

A tricky conundrum….

Great tshirt. People are realizing around the world as it comes apparent: Trump is a great president.

One guy out of 150 million wears a shirt, and Trumpers think the whole world has bought into the con...

Hopefully, after he wins 2020, people in the USA will be able to wear similar attire without being physically assaulted by tolerant, fascist democrats.

And along with a T-Shirt, everyone will be required to wear a small badge with Trump picture on it - it's off to the gulag if you forget to put yours on. Welcome to Trump's Amerika....

Democrats aren't fascists, but I do agree with you they are tolerant...

Elaborate, SVP.

That is some stroooong koolaid dude.

Nothing compared to the Kool-Aid from Moscow that all the Trumpers drank...

You said Democrats were tolerant - I was just agreeing with you...

What is wrong with people???? Trump is an absolute idiot. Why would the intelligent people of Japan support such a fool? A repeated failed business man. He never got the major vote...just the stupid American election system was used to his advantage. He is the biggest Joke on the planet as a leader...

Japan needs America, in order to stand up to China and Russia. It doesn't matter who the president is, they like him, or her.

Whatever the reputation of him at home, he has been pretty good for Japan at least so far. Japan likes what he is doing with China and North Korea - something perhaps only "idiot" can do - and Japan loves it. And despite trade threat to allies including Japan, he has not done anything that hurt Japan. I do not see why Japanese people have to hate him.

Can you elaborate as to the specifics? I haven't seen him do anything especially beneficial to Japan so far. At least, not any more beneficial than recent Presidents.

Until there's a trade war

Trade war with China. An effort for NK Denuclearization. No anti-Japan policies.

Trade war with China.

How is that "pro-Japan"? Also, Trump is starting the same trade war rhetoric with Japan.

An effort for NK Denuclearization.

A failing effort in which he stated that recent NK missile tests did not bother him.

No anti-Japan policies.

So, what were the anti-Japan policies of the previous Presidents? (As I asked you to elaborate in my previous post.)

It's so weird how Trump supporters can ignore facts or twist them to support positions that are completely 180 degrees opposite of what they actually mean. The cognitive dissonance is to thick you can cut it with a katana.
